About Fiberglass Repairs
If you think you have a fiberglass hood, you may be mistaken. Used to be, cloth and resin could repair anything. Not today. The new hoods are not just cloth and resin. They're composed of all kinds of composites and require different types of adhesives and repair procedures. Times have changed and technicians need training and education about materials. The materials to make repairs on the new hoods are costly- if you're getting a price that's below competitive rates, you're not getting the same repair. A gallon of resin cost approximately $12 compared to an adhesive which can cost up to $50 per tube. We believe in economics like everybody else - but be forewarned, super cheap never pays... in short or long term.
