  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Coastal the better truck repair choice compared to others?

We invest in our people and equipment; we have more experience with more types of trucks than anyone else. In the end, this means we invest more in you and your vehicle.

I'd like to work with Coastal but getting my vehicle to you is a problem. How can Coastal help?

We provide pick-up and delivery services of your vehicle so that your workers stay on the job in your shops. We guarantee all of our repair work. We are accountable for what we do.

What do I do if I've been in a collision?

If you get your vehicle to our shop, we will do everything possible to minimize further damage to your vehicle and wallet by taking an accurate and thorough accounting of your vehicle’s condition.

We reduce wait time and eliminate waste because we have the equipment and expertise to perform needed repairs in-house and in the most cost-effective way.

We leverage our good relationships and years of working closely with all the major insurance representatives on your behalf. Insurance appraisers respect our good work and we take seriously their trust.

How are Coastal alignments different from other alignments?

We have the equipment to correct your vehicle to laster straight condition. 90 percent of the shops that offer alignments have the equipment to set your toe- but do NOT make corrections to camber & caster. The equipment to make the proper axle corrections is very expensive. We have it - They don't. They cannot CORRECT your camber and caster and this makes all the difference in your ride and the wear on your tires.

Why shop around when I get the estimate price I want?

Going with the cheapest repair estimate makes sense if all things on the estimate are equal, relative to actually making good repairs. But a repair estimate doesn’t tell you if the estimator is trained to find hidden rust damage or if the technician who will fix your vehicle will have to cut corners in order to meet the lesser bid. We work with you collaboratively to answer important questions about your investment so that you're not having to take your vehicle out of service down the road because repairs aren't properly addressed. Our bottomline is to repair your vehicle right the first time.

What is Coastal's position on taking short-cuts?

We seek to save you time and money wherever we can. And we know- some short cuts just don't payoff. For example, using inferior metal materials, the use of non-galvanized metals, cheap fasteners and low quality refinish products  - these end up costing you more in the long-term.

Coastal Truck uses materials that exceed the manufacturer’s standards so that you can have the option of keeping your vehicle on  the road longer.

Does Coastal outsource my repair?

We’re one of the only shops that offers “One-Stop” services which saves you time and money while your equipment is down.

How does Coastal work with fleet managers to help them?

We take our job of working with you and your needs seriously. We can assist you with assessing all aspects of vehicle maintenance so that you safeguard your drivers, passengers and your future budgets. We don't think maintenance programs should ever be in direct competition with your bottomline. We give you the information you need to make sound decisions for your budget while your vehicle is off the road.
